CONFERENCE VENUE

Convention Centre Dublin

Convention Centre Dublin (CCD)

The Convention Centre Dublin (CCD) is Ireland’s purpose-built international conference and events venue. Located at Spencer Dock on North Wall Quay, overlooking the River Liffey in Dublin’s Docklands, it sits within easy reach of the city centre, the IFSC business district and Dublin Airport.

Designed by the renowned Irish-American architect Kevin Roche, the CCD opened in September 2010. Its striking tilted glass atrium has become a landmark of the Dublin skyline and offers delegates panoramic views across the river and the city.

The CCD regularly hosts international association congresses, corporate meetings, exhibitions and public events. Its combination of modern, flexible facilities, a central waterfront location and Dublin’s reputation as a welcoming and accessible destination makes it a strong choice for organisers planning events of almost any size.

Beyond conferences, the building has also played a notable civic role: during the COVID-19 pandemic it served as the temporary home of Dáil Éireann, the Irish parliament, enabling social distancing for sittings from 2020.
